Donating Objects
The Virginia Holocaust Museum is currently seeking authentic items pertaining to World War II and the Holocaust. Items donated will be used for display and/or permanent archival information. The following items are needed:
- Photographs, letters, documents (passports, birth certificates, and diaries);
- Knives, guns, identifying badges, armbands, belts, short- wave radios, communications equipment, etc.; and
- Artifacts from Nuremberg or any of the subsequent trials.
We do not accept items for temporary loan. All donations will become part of the permanent collection. Donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductable. To make a donation to the archive please contact Levette Smiley at 804.257.5400 X 272.
